State Capitol "Round House" Plans

Scope and Content This collection consists of sheets A-128 & A-129 of 163 sheets of the architectural drawings of the state capitol building of New Mexico known as the "Round House," including plans for undercounter cabinets in the House of Representatives and the Senate, and furniture layouts, sheet 11 of 11 sheets. Also included is one photograph of the central heating plant under construction.

William Tight Presidential Papers

Abstract William George Tight became the third president of the University of New Mexico in 1901 and was the originator of the Pueblo style architecture for many of the campus buildings. The collection consists mostly of correspondence with faculty members during Tight’s tenure as UNM president.
